Robert Lynn Evans, 72, of Waco, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 in Waco.
Cremation was arranged and provided by Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory
Celebration of Life Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Heritage Baptist Church in Benbrook, Texas
Robert was born December 20, 1947 in Winnfield, Louisiana to Walon Bamburg and Margaret Evans. He proudly served in the US Army. His daughter and grandchildren were his pride and joy. His wife, Rita Gayle Allen Evans was the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister; grandson; and sister-in-law.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rita Evans of Waco; daughter, Margaret and husband, Chad Brevelle; grandchildren, Chad Brevelle, Jr. and April Rose Lynn Brevelle all of Springtown, Texas and Shelby Brevelle of Fort Worth; brothers, Jackson and Jamon Bamburg both of Louisiana, Donnie and wife, Clara Evans of Louisiana; many nieces and nephews; and his in-laws, Clinton and Patricia Allen.
