Condolence from Bob McNairy(Mac) on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

I was employed by Pat in 1955 and worked for him until his retirememt. Pat was one of the finest men that I ever knew. Working with him, and knowing him was one of the greatest blessings of my life.
He had a deep love for his Lord, his God, and his "SWEET THANG" He truly was a member of "The Great Generation". I’ll miss You, Pat.

Condolence from Butch Miller on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

I was sad to read of Pat’s passing, but I rejoice in the wonderful life he had. I retired from TxDot in 2002 and worked on several occasions for Pat. He was one of the best bosses and best men that I have ever known or worked for. Pat always stood behind his people and always stood true to his word. I have stopped by a few times for a visit over the years after he retired. He will always have my upmost respect as a man! I hope your healing is speedy and your memories are of good times and not times when he was suffering. God bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you! What a great life lived! An interesting coincidence: My brother, Curtis’ birthday is also August 28 (1952) and he also graduated from Texas A&M with a civil engineering degree.

Condolence from Tim Souders on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Ledbetter. I lived on North 31st growing up. We would frequently go to his house to play with his son, Doug. I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Ledbetter and his family.
