She was born June 1, 1931 to Jess and Lexie Wells in China Spring, Texas. Ollie graduated from Crawford High School and always felt at home in that community. Never one to sit still for long, Ollie was the happiest when she was on the go, whether it was just around the corner or on a road trip.

She is survived by daughters, Judy Kay Pavelka, Linda Hail and husband, Mike, Marion Sorrentino and husband, Tony; son, Chuck Wales and Mary Ann; grandchildren, Amy, Kevin, Jennifer, and Bryan; great-grandchildren, Camryn and Reece; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends; and her beloved pet, Buddy.

Special thanks to Providence Hospice caregivers, Dee, Christina, and Kathy, and to Pat Moran, Linda Hail, Barbara Peterson, and Donna Moore whose help made it possible for Judy to keep her mom at home.

Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice, or to the Volunteer Fire Departments of Crawford, China Spring or Valley Mills.

Condolence from Linda Gilleland Stewart on May 23rd, 2017 9:07 am

Ollie will always be remembered by so many people. My first (and last) memories of her are of a tiny, hilarious, spitfire of a woman who happened to be the mother of two of my best friends, Judy and Janelle. She always told it like it was, made me laugh and somewhat fear her (haha), and loved her girls and family fiercely. Rest your head, dear lady, on the shoulders of the Lord. The thought of you rejoicing with those that have been waiting for you in Heaven, fills me with Hope and great Faith.
All my love and deepest sympathy for Judy and the family.

Condolence from Darlene Nichols-Outlaw on May 23rd, 2017 10:54 am

May God wrap his loving arms and give you comfort now and in the days to come. When I think of Ollie, I see that energetic beautiful smile. She was such a beautiful person inside and out with a loving soul. I enjoyed working for her many years and cherish all those memories. My most sincere condolences for you, Judy and the whole family.
