Ms. Thelma Brandon McDaniel was born on August 5, 1927, to the late Vincent and Clara Brandon. She departed this life on July 4, 2023 at her place of residence surrounded by love ones.
Visitation: 5-8PM PM, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral Service: 10AM, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She married Eddie D Fields Sr. and from that union they shared 11 children. She was a professional cook at Baylor University. She spent most of her formative years in Dallas, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and Waco, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her children, the twin sons, Eddie D Fields Jr, Delma Ray Fields; mother, Clara Brandon; father, Vincent Brandon; brother, Leroy Brandon; brother, Carl C Brandon; brother, Willie B Brandon; brother, Hardy Brandon; brother, LV Brandon; brother, Robert Jr Norwood.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son, James Fields (Lawone) of Waco, TX; son, Johnnie Melvin Fields, of Waco, TX; son, Norman J Fields, of Dallas, TX; daughter, Thelma Turner (Wesley) of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Linda Fields (James) of Desoto, TX; daughter. Geonice Fields of Waco, TX; son, Curtis Fields of Barstow, CA; 30 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; and a host of great-great grands, and other relatives and friends.

My deepest condolences to the family. “Momma Fields McDaniels” was a wonderful woman to those she encountered. I always felt welcomed in her home. She was a blessing to me and I’m sure to anyone she smiled upon. I I pray you all have peace in knowing she loved as God said to love one another. Prayers for you as you mourn her loss.
