The word written in his biography best describe how I remember him. He was a good and decent man, always honest in business and was a joy to work with. He was a good friend.

My Uncle Mo touched my life at a very young age. I remember as a little girl having a hard time learning to tie my shoes and he had the patience to teach me.

He was by far my favorite uncle and pretty much like a second dad to me. I always enjoyed being around him.

As I grew older he was still always there for me and ready to help me in any way possible. Take for instance when I wanted to grow a garden, he came with his rototiller and prepared the ground for me. Then he showed me how to make perfectly straight rows. He told me what to plant and when to plant it. It was the most beautiful vegetable garden. I had to take pictures so I would always remember the memories of creating my garden with Uncle Mo, the outcome, and the way he lovingly taught me.

Too, there was a time when I was getting ready to purchase a mobile home and his words were, " Oh, don’t do that. Let me help you build a home. " And that’s exactly what he did. So I now have a special house filled with many memories. A short while ago, he came to paint one of my bathrooms and he said, " I am so glad you kept your house! " The thought of selling it never crossed my mind.

I can’t stress enough his importance in my life and how much I loved him. And I let him know every chance I got.

My love and prayers go out to his family. He will be greatly missed. However, I am glad he is no longer in pain.

His Niece,
Diane Sais
