Mildred Ann (Davis) Burrow, 78, of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long courageous battle with cancer, on October 8, 2023, in Groesbeck, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 604 N Bonham St in Mexia, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, with the Rosary at 11:30 and Funeral Mass to follow at 12:00.  Lunch will follow at the church.

Mickie, as she was affectionately called by many, was born on September 27, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She married Jimmy Dale Burrow in 1964 and they were married for 59 years. She spent many years as a homemaker raising their two children but as they grew older, she mainly worked in the oil &gas industry as an accountant. Shortly after retiring, they both moved to their dream house on the lake at Lake Limestone in Groesbeck, Texas where there was a lot of time spent fishing and just enjoying their life together at the lake.Mickie is survived by her husband Jimmy Burrow, her two children David Burrow of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Michelle Taylor of Groesbeck, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Mary’s Church.Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
