Everyday at work I looked forward seeing Mary smile and wave back at me as I walked past her office windows. She was such an encouraging person and had such a big heart. I will truly miss her.

Mary Lanelle and I spent many happy times together while growing up in Waco. Her achievements were many and we were always so proud of her. She is part of a large family and will be remembered by each of them.

Mary deposited much Godly wisdom and love into my life and to the lives of my children. She will be missed. I thank God for the memories and love she left with me

Mary was one of those strong dependable women who you knew beyond any shadow of doubt had been through stuff, learned that there is nothing God can’t or won’t do, and that part of the reason He brings you through it is to minister His love and healing to others. She will be truly missed by so many.

We will miss Mary so much. Mary was legal secretary and friend to Bob Sheehy and kept his law office running through a number of years leading up to his retirement. She was always smiling, always cheerful, an incredibly hard worker, and a friend to our whole family.

Dear Gerry and Candy: Has been many years since we see y’all but have never forgotten you. Saw you sister’s obit in the newspaper. We moved back from South Dakota in July of 2010. We send our sincere sympathies and will have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Mary through theTexas Star Chapter of EGA, Inc. She was a past President of our Chapter and avid stitcher. I will miss her.

I am one of her church daughters. She took me under her wing with my mother being 1000 miles away. Even though I was far from home Mary made me feel right at home and never alone. It was such a pleasure walking through this journey with Mary even if it was only for a year since I moved here. It is a lifetime of memories and knowledge that I will never forget. I will miss you Mary. See you in heaven!

What an amazing woman! She has been a godly role model for so many, in so much. I have had the priviledge of being her pastor for the past 14 or so years, and the joy of her working as part of Open Door staff for the past 9 years. She has been such a faithful friend to me and my wife, bringing not only her vast array of skills to further ministry, but also her character and integrity, to inspire and motivate those of us who knew her. She cannot be replaced, but I think there are a lot of areas we can let the Lord equip us to try to fill just a little piece of the pattern that her life has demonstrated to us. Mary, I will see you later!

During any of her struggles you never heard or saw her complain. She was a wonderful example of preseverence and strength. She continually showed her faith no matter what was going on around her. We can now only wait to see her again…whole, without pain and cancer. I hope I get to be in the line that gets to thank her for giving to the LORD and to see the crown that the LORD gives to her. Life is such a precious gift and all too soon it can slip away. But thanks to God through Christ we have a wonderful hope for the future. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear the voice of Christ and come out." (John 5:28,29 Acts 24:15) Yes, you will see Mary again because Christ will journey there to awaken her from sleep.
