Mark Steven Rosecrants, 69, of Waco passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2023 after battling throat cancer.

Celebration of Life Gathering: 2pm – 4pm Saturday, January 6th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, Waco, Texas

Mark was born on May 2, 1954 in Big Springs, Texas. He graduated from Richfield High School. Mark worked for the factory C-Line and did security for Texas Star. His hobbies were fishing and collecting Star Wars figures.

Mark is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lenora (Leach) Rosecrants; two daughters, Stacy Rosecrants and Jennifer Rosecrants and husband Jeremy Davis; son, Steven Rosecrants and wife Leisa Williams; sister, Suzanne Martin and husband Harold; brother, David Rosecrants and wife Vicki; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and many other close relatives and friends.

Place of Service: Lake Shore Funeral Home , 5201 Steinbeck Bend; Waco, TX 76708

Sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. He was the best Girl Scout Dad! They believed in doing all the activities as a family and I could always trust Mark and Lori to be there to help. I relied on Mark to give us the “guy” point of view and to help with teaching the girls the outdoor stuff! I enjoyed working with him and his family. I know they will miss him!
