Wendolyn Irene Blumenstetter, 73, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at a local care center. Graveside services will be 10 AM Friday, November 1st at China Spring Cemetery, with Rev. Jane Woodward officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Thursday, October 31st at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Lynn was born to Wendell F. and Clara Arla (Bearss) Collier on October 5, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a graduate of Chamberland High School. She married Thomas Blumenstetter on September 25, 1959 in Tampa, Florida. They made their home in China Spring since 1961 and were members of China Spring United Methodist Church and she served as a minister for five years at Mosheim United Methodist Church.

Wendolyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Thomas F. Blumenstetter; sons, Robert A. Blumenstetter and Thomas W. Blumenstetter; daughter, Katherine A. Blumenstetter; brothers, Donald Collier, Robert Collier, Bruce Collier; and sister, JoAnn Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to China Spring Methodist Church Building Fund.
