Lucas Paul Smith, infant son of Crystal Taylor and Bobby Smith, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010. Graveside services will be 2PM Wednesday, September 22nd at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff with Rev. James Adams officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30PM Tuesday, September 21st at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Survivors include his parents; sister, Montana Smith; brothers, Christian Smith and Levi Smith; grandparents, Paula and Rusty Pursche, Dawn Maler, Michael Taylor, and Charles Robert and Debbie Smith; great grandparents, Nell Taylor, Tim and Janie Cosby, Margie and Ebe Pursche, and Jane Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to Scott and White Hospital in Temple including Dr. Steven Allen, nurse Chris as well as all the other nurses assisting us during this saddened time.

I am so sorry for the loss of this precious baby. please know that God will comfort and sustain you since He knows what you feel now more than anyone else. We find at Psalm 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. His promise for the future is to bring our loved ones who passed away back to life in paradise, so you can look forward to holding your baby in your arms again. John 5:28,29; Isaiah 25:8; Psalm 37:11,29. Please accept my condolences.
