Larry W. Monaghan, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

Memorial Information: Larry will be remembered during a memorial visitation Monday, January 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Larry was born February 18, 1945 in Waco, to Orland W. and Velma (Burleson) Monaghan. He spent years in the building supplies business and retired from Gross Yowell. He was an advid golfer and fisherman and was also a Baylor Bear Alumni and fan.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Kalie Monaghan and Lawrence Monaghan; sister, Carolyn Vicha and husband, Ted; and several other relatives and friends.

Place of Service: Lake Shore Funeral Home , 5201 Steinbeck Bend; Waco, TX 76708

Glad to have known Larry since high school and college together at Hill Junior College,McLennan Junior College. Latter on we spent a lot of time Bass fishing in clubs and Texas State Bass Tournaments. Many great times together that i will never forget! A great person with a big heart and I always admired his memory which was almost photographic. Rest In Peace!
