Kelsey Elizabeth Emblem, I love you like you were my own. You brought so much joy to my life. You will never be forgotten. There could never be another like you so beautiful, so funny, so much attitude and yet so innocent. We miss you and will keep you in our hearts forever. I am so sorry for your loss. Kelsey was a sweet and beautiful girl. I was always happy to see her smile in the halls of Viking Hills. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family during this time.
Please accept my sympathy in the passing of your daughter. I was just logged on to this website and was reading the obituaries. Kelsy sounded like she was a little fighter and full of life. Her time and purpose on earth for this brief period of time may never be known to us now but one day when we stand with Jesus we will see. While I did not know Kelsey, I know the rest of the children well enough to imagine the sweet person she was. I pray that Erik and Kari find the strength they need at this time. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I taught second grade at Viking Hills this year and was blessed to get to know Kelsey. Ms. Pullin often spoke of how much of ray of sunshine Kelsey was to have in class. She will always be a Ray of sunshine in all our lives. She was such a courageously sweet little girl. She will be deeply missed. I hope you find comfort in knowing that our precious Lord and Savior has his arms wrapped tenderly around her. It is a comfort to know she is an amazing angel watching over all of us.
Kelsey was an inspiration to me with her courage, wisdom and her smile. She never once showed fear. She always had a smile at school. Kari, do you remember the Brightwells (lived next door to Larry & Karen? Chris was your age & Rachel was just a little 2 yr old when we all knew each other. Kevin & Chris were in Scouts together.
