Condolence from Samantha Porter, Granddaughter on February 15th, 2024 11:18 am

Thank you so much. Books were such a huge part of her life. She often told me about her adventures to Golden’s. Her love of books will live on with myself and her great grandchildren. Thank y’all for being a happy memory for her.

Condolence from Veronica Prescher on February 15th, 2024 1:58 pm

Who else can say they were blessed with the best Mother-in-Law ever? There was only one, and she was mine. I remember she was always there when we needed her, even though she had to drive to Houston to do it.
Maxine had a close relationship with her granddaughter, Samantha, and her great granddaughters just loved their GG.
Samantha was with GG as she departed and asked that she tell her Dad how much she loves him when she hugs him Heaven.
I’m sure she’s sitting with him right now telling him all about those grandkids.

I worked with Maxine while in banking. She was a dear person and extremely smart. Always had the answer. She is someone that I think very highly of. May Gods presence be with the family at this trying time.
