Jo Ann Brunson passed away early morning on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 with her family at her bedside.
Memorial Service: A celebration of Jo Ann’s life at 2:00p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Oglesby.
Jo Ann was born June 14, 1953 to Chandler Boling and Iva Lee Polston in Waco. Jo Ann graduated nursing school in 1978 and started a 38 year long career in long term care. In 1990, she changed from nursing to administrative duties specializing in Medicare billing.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Harrell and husband, Grayson of Waco; grandchildren, Brandon Harrell and wife, Esther of Hollywood, CA, Caitlin Harrell of Dallas, Tanner Harrell of Waco, and Miranda Harrell of Clifton; and 2 great-granddaughters.

Dear Lisa,
I worked with Jo Ann and you at Sunquest/ Sun Healtcare many years ago now. JoAnn taught me so much that I was able to bring to my work and advance my career until my retirement last year. I loved her sayings and sense of humor! This morning I was thinking of her as I was using one of her sayings and thought to reach out. I am sad to hear of her passing. My heart-felt condolences.

Lisa and family, my heart is broken over the loss of Jo Ann. She was like a second mother to me, always there when I needed her. Her house was always open to me and my family. I will miss everything about her but especially her laugh and smile. She will be greatly missed. I love you all Sister! Rest easy Jo Ann, I’ll help watch over Lisa!
