Jay Richard Macy III, 56, of Waco, Texas passed away January 2, 2024, with his family by his side.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church, 211 S Madison Ave, McGregor TX, 76657.

Jay was born to Jay Richard Macy II and Janelle Macy January 31, 1967, in Marion, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and rodeo. He always loved joking with family and friends. His grandkids loved spending time with him and will truly miss him.

Jay is preceded in death by his sister, Ginger Maxwell.

Jay is survived by his wife, Christina; son, Jay Richard Macy IV and fiancé Antonette; daughter, Ashley Lozano and husband Marselo; step-daughter, Crystal Garcia and husband Kiko; grandchildren, Xavier, Trinity, Kourtney, Jay, Isabella, Sunny, Myles, Jeriah, Macie and Hazel. He is also survived by his parents, Jay and Janelle; brother, Steven Macy and wife Diana; brother, Donald Macy and wife Jo; brother, Jim Macy and wife Tamara; sister, Margo Griffin and husband Charlie; brother, Jamie Macy and wife Ana and many nieces and nephews.

Just found out about this! I worked with him for years at PCA , always cracking jokes. His birthday was the day before mine, same year. We ALWAYS told each other Happy Birthday, I even said it aloud every year after he left. I never saw him after PCA, wish I could have. I’m so sorry for the family’s loss.
