Memorial Service: 2 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel

Gretta Coleman passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

Gretta was born October, 25, 1960, in Mount Sterling, KY, to Virginia Hayes and Hurshal Moore Jr. Gretta had a pure heart and dedicated her life to family and friends. She lived her life through simple pleasures; enjoying the outdoors, listening to music, puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and caring way, touching so many different lives through her own. Gretta fought tirelessly through five years of cervical and metastatic brain cancer, always doing for others and spending every moment she could to help those who needed it most. Though she is dearly and incredibly missed by us all, there is solace knowing that such an amazing woman is watching over all of us. We love you Gretta, Mama, Nanny.

She is survived by her siblings, Angie Moore, Barry Moore, Maline Branch; children, Krystal Coleman, Nathan Coleman, Jason Coleman, Krystan Terrell; grandchildren Stacie Salas, Devin Coleman, Haley Ketchum, Mckenzie Williams, Makayla Perez, Alyssa Hawthorne, Alyssa January, Timothy Coleman, Noah Coleman, Trenton Coleman, Colby Terrell, Colton Terrell, Kylee Terrell; and nine beautiful great-grandchildren.

Place of Service: Lake Shore Funeral Home , 5201 Steinbeck Bend; Waco, TX 76708
