We are still in shock in the sudden passing of our brother in law. We will miss his smile and quick wit!! I I know Pam and all his children are missing him already because he was the glue that held them altogether (that is what one of his kids recently told me). We LOVE you George!! George was a great father, and great father-in-law. I feel blessed just being a part of their family. I have a massive amount of respect for him, he is one of the greatest people I’ve ever known. Things will not be the same without you Paw-Paw!! Love ya bud!

George was one of my CE’s at Scott & White. I later ran into him at Texas Farm Bureau. He was a hoot. Very professional and one of the best that I have ever seen. I am shocked that he is no longer with us. I will miss you and your wit.

Condolences to all of George’s loved ones. He was a great man and will be missed by all who knew him.

I worked with George many years ago when I was a computer tech and Texas Farm Bureau and George was our customer engineer with IBM. We had many conversations and laughs back in those days. George always had a smile and a hello when I worked with him. I saw him last around 6 years ago and the smile and sense of humor was still there. I’m saddened by this news but I know George is now in a better place. He will be missed.

George and my brother were friends and while George and I did not associate much the times I was around him and Pam he really left an impression on me. Pam so sorry for your loss I can still remember some of the stories even my mother told about George. God Bless

Prayers for the Long family! Sending my condolences. I’ve known the Long family for many years since I was a kid. I grew up with their kids. I’m in shock that he’s gone. Lord please watch over this family during this difficult time.

George has been a wonderful neighbor. I remember when he and Pam moved the old 2 story house by truck down roads and across pastures to their property where they began fixing and remodeling it, a herculean task. George was a man of many skills, and he and Pam made that house beautiful and made it a lovely home to raise children. I know you will see your dear husband and father everywhere in all the improvements he put himself into. He left a wonderful legacy of love. Gail Blanpied

There are some many things I can say about my father in law. He was great man and I was blessed to have him in my life for 15 years. He always thought of me as part of the family. I know my husband is going to hurt for a awhile and my kids didn’t get enough time with Papa. But we will keep him alive through his kids and grandkids. We will miss you so much Dad. We love you

George was our CE at Texas Farm Bureau for many years. He was a professional, but always performed his duties with a personal touch. He always had a smile and good natured ‘debates’ about kids and life in general, with a twinkle in his eye. He always talked about Pam and his kids, and although I never met them, I knew he loved them BIG! My condolences to your family as you carry on. May God bless you and give you strength.
