Funeral Service:  Thursday, April 21, 2022  3:00 PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel

Gail Stewart was born January 25, 1950 in Gardena, California. She was an Air Force brat and moved often with her family. She graduated in 1968 from Proctor High School in Proctor, Minnesota. With her two little girls in tow, Gail moved to Waco, Texas in 1975 where she attended Texas State Technical Institute and graduated with a degree in Dental Lab. Gail married the love of her life, Jerry Stewart, on January 18, 1984 and they raised their very own Brady Bunch. With four boys and two girls (and all of their friends) there was never a dull moment.

Jerry and Gail retired from M&M Mars and enjoyed their retirement as park hosts and gate attendants at Lake Belton. There they made many friends and loved on their precious pets. They loved to vacation and had many fond memories of Jamaica, Cancun and most recently their first cruise. Gail was “Mimi” to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many of their friends.

Gail is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Jerry; daughter, Nicole Brandon (Jesse); son, Sammy Stewart; daughter, Jessica Griffin; son, David Stewart (Becky); grandchildren, Meagan Stewart, Jamie Goodall, Jason Brandon, Hailey Brandon, Marcus Griffin, Autumn Cruz, Zane Stewart-Cruz, Hannah Stewart, Tristan Clark; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Michael Patrick; sister, Denise Broadus (Ronnie); sister ,Shelly Trites (Matt); and close friend for over 40 years, Sue Abbott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Jerry “Scooter” Stewart and Jamie Leroy.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Gail’s name to the Central Texas Humane Society or “Fuzzy Friends Rescue”.
