Friederich “Hippie” Thomas Burleson, 56, passed away on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He left this world in peace, at home surrounded by family, into the loving arms of Christ.
Memorial Service: 1PM to 3PM Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Karola Meyer; father and step-mother, Thomas and Sandra Burleson; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Emily Burleson; son and future daughter-in-law, Taz Burleson and Holly Harris; granddaughter, Annalise Burleson; sisters, Tanja Rivoire, Tommilee Burleson, and their families; step-siblings, Jack, Ty (Tiger), Lisa, Brenda and Debra; and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Warren Burleson; grandmother, Addie Lou Burleson; and his step-father, Jack Meyer.

My thoughts and prayers to each of you in the loss of your Daddy, son and brother. I met Hippie years back in Elm Mott, what a sweetheart ! Last time I saw him he talked to me for a long while about the cancer and not for one minute was he down about it. He was a man of his word and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. I am gonna miss this man so much ! RIP Hippie <3 One cool dude
