Faye Anderson Stone, 84, of Waco, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco with her family at her side.
Graveside Service: 10AM Wednesday, July 6th at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Visitation: 5 to 7PM Tuesday, July 5th at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Faye was born June 12, 1932 in Waco to M.T. Anderson and Elecie Anderson. She spent most of her life as a seamstress. More importantly, she devoted her time to her family. Sunday lunches were a must with all her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, John Stone, Sr and Ray Stone; her sisters, Pansy Shugart and Gloria Harvey; and her brother, Mearlin Anderson.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Sherry Hill and husband, Barney; sons, John Stone, Jr and wife, Diane and Larry Stone and wife, Diane; sisters, June Brown, Bessie Swindle and Linda Taylor; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Hospice and nurses, Ida and Brenda for their special care of Faye.
