Diana Louise Cooke, 43, a life-time resident of Waco, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her residence after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Graveside services will be 10AM Friday, November 14th at Robinson Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Harrison officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Thursday, November 13th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Before her illness, Diana had worked for MHMR as a receptionist. In 2008, she co-chaired for the local chapter of the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure Foundation to fight breast cancer. She also was a member of Victorious Life Church.
Survivors include daughters, Tabitha Bermudez and husband, Luis, and Sara Elizabeth Albright; son, Christopher Mark Maddux; sisters, Judy Lynn Andrews, Cynthia Jo Larrow, Robin Lanell Colvin, and Paula Ann Maddux; and brother, Gary Mark Maddux, all of Waco.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. Christopher and our youngest son, Jacob, are in the same class at Robinson. It truly breaks my heart for your family, especially Christopher, for your loss of Diana. Jacob wanted to tell Christopher that he is his friend and he is very sad for him.
