Cody James Nunn, age 23, of Riesel, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Graveside Service: 1pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Riesel Cemetery, 662-698 N. Broadway St., Riesel Tx. 76682. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Cody was born on January 24, 2000 in Waco to Vickie and James Nunn. Cody was a loving son, brother, and father; he had a big heart. He loved his family and friends and he always puts others before himself. Cody loved spending time with his kids and also his friends. He loved his car club, Waco Heavy Hittaz.
Cody is joined in Heaven by his Grandma; Virgina Wetzel “Cookie”, Grandpa; Robert Wetzel; uncles, Jesse Nunn, and Johnny Yelvington.
Cody is survived by parents, James and Vickie Nunn; children, Madison and Lily; and their mother Kayla; brothers, Leon Alvarado (Hailey), John Alvarado (Emma), Mason Scott; sister, Chazine Edgecomb; aunts and uncles, Robert and Melissa Wetzel, Shelly Yelvington, John and Amanda Nunn, Laura and John Hebert, and Linda Wetzel; grandparents, William and Laura Nunn; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers: Leon Alvarado, John Alvarado, Tommy Yelvington, Steven Wetzel, Brenden Tuttle And Michael Martinez

I only met you 4 or 5 times but that was enough to tell how awesome you were. You gave me Nova at the lowest part of my life and she saved me. You have no idea what that meant to me. You even offered me help when my ceiling fell in during the winter storm we had two years ago. You will be missed. Rest in Peace Cody.
