Clarence Irvin Bolen, 69, of Waco, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2019.
Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Burial: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery in Killeen.
Clarence was born July 2, 1950, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Alfred and Elizer (Young) Bolen. He joined the Air Force in April of 1969. In 1970, he got married, and his family was stationed in Montgomery, Alabama. They then moved to Norfolk, Thetford, England. In 1975, they moved back to the states and resided in Dayton, Ohio.
He enjoyed fishing, puzzles and reading different types of books and articles. He was passionate about people, and would offer help to anyone in need. Clarence was interested in coding and always encouraged his grandchildren to learn how to do it.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lawrence Bolen.
He is survived by his daughters, Tiara Bolen-Morrow of Waco, Teresa Bolen of Dallas and Tisa Bolen of Lansing, MI; son, Travis Bolen, of Battle Creek, MI; brothers, Ernest Bolen of Battle Creek, MI and George Bolen of Grand Rapids, MI; sister, Elaine Bolen of Las Vegas, NV; aunt, Alice Jennings; 15 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

To the Bolen family. I respectfully and sadly submit my deepest and sincere condolences to each and everyone of you. Your dad, grandfather will surely be missed. We grew up in the Congress street area, and went to school together. My prayers and thoughts will be with you always.
