Christine Elaine Tucker, 65, of Mount Calm, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 surrounded by her family after fighting a hard six months battle with Metastatic Cancer. She left a spent body and ascended into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ and her family that awaited her. She was a woman of boundless energy, an unwavering love for her family and grandkids and was a bright light to all that knew her.
Celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at the Church of Christ in Mount Calm Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 3pm.
She is proceeded in death by both her parents, Francis Melton Tucker and Dorothy Allene and a brother, Kenneth Lee Tucker and a grandaughter, Kinsley Fisher.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Shannon Young and husband Trey; son, Kaydyn Lyon; the loves of her life that called her Mimi, her granchildren, Landon of Mount Calm, Jaydon, Ronnie, Lisa, Michael and Shalynn from Groesbeck; brothers, Jimmy Tucker and wife Sally; Ronnie Tucker and wife Theresa; sister, Donna Tucker; brother Mike Tucker – all of Mount Calm; niece that was very special to her, Sherri Springman and husband Patrick of Chalk Bluff; numerous other nephews and nieces, cousins and family.
We want to thank the staff at Hillcrest Hospital and Hillcrest Hospice for the excellent care that they provided for Elaine during her last days.

My cuz who I had the pleasure to know and kid around with.will miss her.
I am so sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. All of the family is in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time and in the days to come.
So sorry for your loss, she was the best scrambled egg cooking at 6 am babysitter ever. She was special to so many and will be truly missed.

She was amazing person to know. Hard worker, loving friend, and enjoy life. I personally will remember the fun we had while working in Mexia. She was a fire cracker.

I am So sorry for your loss. Elaine was an amazing person. Her and my husband work together at TSTC a few years back! And she also gave us our dog Tater tot. Who unfortunately passed in 2020. Our prayers are with you duduring this time

Elaine and I had many adventures together in school. Haven’t seen her in years but will miss her dearly. Rest in peace sweet friend. You and your family will always be very dear to me.
Elaine was truly a woman worth knowing and calling friend. No matter what life threw her, she rose above it! No matter how tired she was, if you walked into Dixie’s and asked for a burger and fries, like only she made, she gave you a smile and said ,”sure, give me a second”! No more pain Elaine and fly high!
