Cecil Carlton Searcy, 69, of Valley Mills, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at home surrounded by loving friends and family after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 10am, Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco. It was a privilege getting to know Cecil. He made my mom very happy and I got one terrific stepdad out of the deal. Not to mention four fabulous stepsisters. Your dad was a good man with a great heart and we will all miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with my mom and all of his daughters and their families. He loved all of you very much.
