Condolences for the family of “Carolyn Stowe Batey”

Condolence from Alice Batey on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

Carolyn was a good mother-in-law. She always greeted me with a smile, and then there were times when she took the time to sit and cry with me. I remember an enjoyable time we all had at Lake Buchanan one summer. I have nothing but fond memories. My prayers are with her family.

Condolence from Carl Moore on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

Angel Dance

She exuded life and always shined a beautiful smile.
She gave to us her whole heart and tender touch.
It is truly amazing that a person such as her could mean so much.
She lived her life fully and indulged in its’ intriguing Wonderment.
She definitely left a huge hole in our hearts at a great extent.
She bore beautiful children and called many a friend.
Our last moments with her were a sweet bitter chance.
To tell her we love her and send her off to to where the angels dance.

She is now in a place where she suffers no more. That is all that I need to know.

Wynn,Debbie,Ricky,Peggy and
families, I can still see
little Carolyn when only a
tiny baby.I was a teenager
and lived in Texas and couldn’t wait to get to Kansas
to see my first niece.
She was a doll and I loved
her dearly.
When she was less than 2 years old, her Mother came to
Texas for a visit and I got
to keep her overnight and she
knew exactly what she wanted
to wear and could not be
persuaded otherwise. I took
her the next morning to show
her off to my co-workers.
I loved her dearly.
Her Aunt Estelle

Condolence from Ricky Stowe on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Well mom….Today was a tough day for me. I knew it would be. It was hard to let you go but I know you had to go..You had been sick for some time and were not feeling well. I could see that. I love you forever and thank you for being my mom and all the care and directions you gave me thoughout my life. I thank you for being a great listener when I would call you and tell you about my life problems.. You were always so understanding. I have this void in my heart and chest right now.. Kind of feel lost and empty! I know you are with Papu and Mamu now and so happy singing with all the Angels in heaven…I will be there one day to join you, so keep that space beside you ready. Until then, I will live my life on earth and ready myself for the days I can join you. I am sure you were here with us today but you had a beautiful funeral and you sang to us at the gravesite.. You always could sing and play the piano so well.. You were very talented….Good bye my beautiful mom! LOVE YOU!!!

Condolence from Tiffany on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Me Me Ma, I miss you so much. I can’t sleep. I know you are in a much better place and i’m being selfish wanting you back but you were my Me Me Ma and the only person in the world who would understand me. I wish we had more time together, I wanted to learn the crochet techniques from you so that I could pass that on. You were such a fighter and I know i’ll be the same way. I’m so glad you were in my life and i’m thankful for the years I had you. I’ll make sure and dye an egg for you every year and I will always love and miss you. I will miss my yearly birthday phone calls so very very much. That was the highlight of my birthday and you know it! I just can’t write anymore because i’m at work and don’t want to cry anymore. I love you and can’t wait to be with you again. Pull a 777 for me, I love you!
Tiffany

I will always remember picking vegetables in your garden, cooking with you, and sitting by the heater at Debbie’s party (haha)! Thank you for the wonderful gift you gave me… Rick! 🙂 Know that I love him and the boys and will take care of them for you! I love you and will always hold a special place in my heart for you!
