Betty and I were kids together during the age of sock hops and Elvis. She lived on Bagby and I lived down the street ànd around the curve on James. She taught me how to make images by moving a pencil back and forth rapidly across paper, a strange recollection, I suppose. My thoughts are of her and I hope her loved ones can find comfort in knowing that she is remembered.
