I know there is not much I can say that will give you comfort. But, just know that I love you like a sister, and truly care about you and what you must be going through. I only know to keep praying for you and that you will be blessed with peace and comfort that comes from the love of God, and all those here that love you too. Your Mom was a great lady and had a wonderful life. She is in even better hands now.

I have very fond memories of Ms Brown.
I spent a lot of time at her house in high school with Ginger. My last meory of her she was playing the piano and singing. Such a beautiful sweet woman. I know she will be missed by her family.

Our deepest condolences to you both. Your Mother was a sweetheart. My fondest memories of her was when she and my Grandmother (her Aunt Lucille) would play the piano and sing their favorite tunes. They always put aside a couple of hours every visit to play and sing. They would always go back and forth with each other on how they thought the other was a better piano player (their modesty prevailed!!), but there was never a doubt who had the most beautiful singing voice…your Mother. She could hum and sing a tune that would stick with you for weeks!! I remember taking Aunt Gloria to Waco to visit ‘BaBa’, as Aunt Gloria called her, when ‘Glo’, as your Mother called her, was humming the tune, “You’ll Always Be the Fire I Can’t Put Out”, I told her how that was one of my current favorite C&W songs, she said, “Mine, too! I just love the tune!”, and she picked it out on the piano while we were there. Your Mother would just hum or whistle a piece of a tune and instantly, Aunt Gloria would say, “Well, let’s hear some music!” Then it was time for your Mother and my Grandmother to pull out the piano bench! I will miss her and that sweet, never ending smile she always had. Her smile and laughter will always remain in my heart. We know that she is in God’s loving arms, what a beautiful reunion she has had. We are promised that we will reunite with all of them one day. Love you both….Patty, WJ and Family.

My condolences on the loss of your mother. I remember her as a beautiful, elegant lady from her visits to our farm. My mother passed in 1998. She always spoke well of your mother. I was only 10-12 years of age when you visited to see your pony. I loved that horse so much and he gave me so much joy growing up. Wishing you and your family well. Thank you for letting me know. It triggered so many good memories of that time of my life. By the way, I still have horses and ride as often as I can.

We’re so sorry for your loss. She was a blessing to me. I’ve wondered where she was for several years. I would have loved to have visited with her. She was always there for me when she lived across the street. I know she will be missed deeply. She’s with her Lord now.

Ginger and Ron and Families – It was good to have met your Mom, several years ago. She was so spirited and feisty ( in a good way! ) ………………….. I hope that your entire family continues to remember her – through all stages of her life – as I do my parents and grandparents ….. they will always be a part of us. Ginger, I just enjoyed watching the photo slideshow of your mom’s life. It was a lovely tribute to a lovely woman. She was a gracious Southern lady who loved the Lord, her family and friends well. We are grateful for our 30 years of friendship. Barbara lived in the present and was always good to ask how our children were doing and what Bill and I were up to. Our kids loved climbing the trees at her duplex and playing with Rowdy and the cats. And we enjoyed sharing our many Deacon/Naomi Banquet “dates” together. We will truly miss this sweet woman but have utmost confidence we will see her again and enjoy our heavenly home forever.
