Anita Ann Overstreet, 63, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 28th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Hopson officiating. Visitation will follow the ceremony.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, William and Johnnie.
Survivors include daughters, Dee Dee Glass and husband, Joe, and Tammi Taylor and husband, Russell; sons, Chad Overstreet, and Nicholas Overstreet and wife, Kristin; grandchildren, Rachel, Marla, Gavin, Troy, Trevor, Kortni, Tyler, Zachary, Shelby, Elizabeth, Landen and Evan; brothers, Joe Richter and wife, Mickey, Butch Richter, and Edward Richter; sisters, Evelyn Willingham and husband, Nealand, and Debbie French and husband, Gerry; and numerous other relatives.

I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT ANITA. SHE WAS SO DEAR TO ME.SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND GOOD ADVICE FOR ME. I LOVED HER DEARLY EVEN THOUGH I LOST CONTACT WITH HER SINCE I MARRIED AND MOVED. SHE WAS IN MY WEDDING ALONG WITH ALL YOU KIDS. MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU. MAY GOD BLESS
Dear Family:
I worked with Anita for many years at the law firm. Your mother was a very bright, skilled legal assistant and adored her family very much. I was so sad to hear of her passing. I’m sure you know how dedicated Anita was to her work and to her family.
Please know that she touched many people’s hearts, including mine.
It is with deepest sympathy that I send this card, but she will be remembered fondly in my heart.

Anita was a sweet and gentle person, very hard-working and totally dedicated to her family. It was a privilege and a blessing to know her and work with her for many years. She will truly be missed.
