Andrew C. Jones, of Elm Mott, formerly of Hurst, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 2nd.
He was born November 29, 1940 in Paris, Texas. He served honorably in the United States Army.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Andrew C. Jones, Sr.; mother, Josephine Jones; his brother, J.L. Jones and sister, Coleen Fly.
Andy leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Sandra; brothers, Ornie Jones of Texas City, Jim Jones of Oregon and Don Freeman and wife, June, of Spring; daughters, Lisa Carroll and husband, Steve, of Marshall, and Jari Parker and husband, Wayne, of Lorena; son, Daniel Jones of Marshall; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous extended family.

To Sandy & the family of Andy Jones.
I am so sorry to learn of Andy’s passing. I first met him in 1963, in Frankfurt, Germany, where we served together in the U.S. Army. He was a dedicated soldier, & he was proud to have served his country as part of the elite ASA (Army
Security Agency). I have always admired & respected him since the first time we met. We have remained good friends for over 50 years. May he rest in peace, & he will not be forgotten.
I wish Sandy & his family all the best.
