Albert "Al" Hart, Jr., 85, of Waco, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 21st. Memorial services will be 3PM Monday, January 6th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Al was born February 9, 1928 in Elkhart, IN to Alice (Linn) and Albert W. Hart, Sr. He married Marlene Joan Adams on October 14, 1959.. He and Marlene moved to Waco in 1969. As a lay minister, he served in the Methodist Church. After receiving his degree from Baylor University, Al served at several Baptist churches including McClanahan, Rock Creek, Stilwell Retirement, and Grace Temple. Al also continuously served in prison ministry in McLennan County. He was a member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church. He also served as a Gideon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Ethel Ames, Dorothy Krauser, and Phyllis Ballyeat; and a daughter, Pamela Henry.

Survivors include wife of 54 years, Marlene Hart of Waco; daughters, Judith "Joey" White and husband Chuck of Phoenix, AZ, and Patricia Jo Davis and husband Tommy of Gilbert, AZ; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge Jeffrey Place and Odyssey Hospice for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Park Lake Drive Baptist Church or charity of your choice.
