Ruby Jean Johnson, age 66, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
Memorial Service: 10 AM Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Ruby was born July 9, 1955 in Marlin, TX to David and Marjorie Johnson. She grew up in the Reagan area until moving to Waco. She loved her family and being a Nanny was her joy. She was a great friend to many and would do anything for anybody. Ruby was always there to listen and help in any way she could. She enjoyed collecting heart rocks and spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her father, David Johnson; mother, Marjorie Shillings; stepfather, Don Shillings; brothers, Bill, Robert, and Thomas Johnson; and sisters, Patricia Gray, Kay Johnson, and Vivian Williams.Leaving to cherish her memory are her sisters, Nancy Wynn of Bremond and Mary (James) Gula of Lorena; brother, Danny Johnson of Lorena; three daughters, Marjorie (Mark) Heslep of Axtell, Mary (Johnny) Young and Melissa Johnson of Waco; grandchildren, Joshua Olson, Brent (Allison) Copeland, Hannah (David) Johnson, Preston Fowler, Jordan (Chynna) Olson and Elizabeth (Zak) Lamb; great-grandchildren, Alex, Landen, Logan, Ayden, Zhander, Channing, and Zyvan. Also, her forever love, Floyd Paul Olson. She loved each and every one of them.

My heart breaks for your loss. Mom was too young to pass. I’m sure she made a difference in everyone’s life. It’s not so much the ones that pass, it’s the ones that are left behind. Mom would like you all to go on with your lives and be as happy as you can be. Mom
