Wanda Bennett Barefield, 62, passed away on October, 19, 2017, at Providence Hospital. Wanda was born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 3, 1954.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalbert and Maxie Bennett; brother, Jimmy Bennett; and grand-daughter, Caitlyn Nelson.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Band; her daughters, Michelle Coleman, Wendy Nelson, Crystal Barefield, and Ashley Bennett; and 9 grandchildren.
Wanda was a very outgoing and hard-headed woman who took pride in her family. There was never a dull moment with her around. She will be greatly missed.

To Wanda’s family. Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss, 62 years old is to young to pass, I lost my Dad at the age of 74 and I think that is to young. I can see how much she loved her family and friends. I know how extremely painful it is to loose someone close to us, but the comfort that I received from God’s word was so helpful, because it gave me a hope. Jesus’ words at John 5:28+29 and Isaiah 25:8 were so comforting to me. Please read them yourself to see why .
I am so sorry to hear about Wanda. I went to school with her at University Jr and high school. She was a good friend back then… prayers for her family????
Words cannot suffice my heartfelt sorrow I feel in the passing of your Mom. May our Lord bless and comfort your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Wanda will always have a place in my heart. She had the bigest heart always try to help everyone . make them smile and see the positive out of everything. Wanda you will be missed. I love you and hope you rest n peace in heaven
