William Henry Harrison Sr., a devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, at the age of 87 surrounded by the ones he lived for and loved.

Visitation:  9am to 10am Saturday, December 28th at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Interment:  Little Tehuacana Cemetery

He was born on February 27, 1937, to his parents, Hubert Harrison Sr, and Lillian K. Harrison in the Bethlehem Community of McLennan County, in Texas.

He confessed his hope and faith in Christ at an early age. He was a hard-working Husband and Father who always put his family first.

William was preceded in death by this parents, Hubert and Lillian Harrison; and six siblings; Lauradell Turner, Bessie “Bobbie” Chase, Maybell Smith, Sylvester Harrison, Eddie Harrison, and Herbert Harrison Jr.

William shared a remarkable 60-year marriage with his beloved wife, Wanda Joyce Harrison. Together, they built a loving family and cherished their time with their five children, Angela Skiff of Pearland, Tx, Rhonda Blake (Tyrone) of Pearland, Tx, William H. Harrison Jr. of Crowley, Tx, Christopher Harrison (Shilicia) of Waco,Tx, and Prinston Harrison (Nichole) of Waco, Tx; his grandchildren, Christopher Harrison Jr., Briana Skiff, Jaylen Harrison, MyKayla Harrison, Alyson Harrison, and Prinston Harrison Jr.; his great­ grandchildren, Asia Chambliss, Jacob Hawkins Jr., and Chloe Barnett; a devoted brother-in­ law, Gerald Moore; his siblings Donnie Harrison (Annette), Stella Burns, Gussie Miles, and Dorothy Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family would like to acknowledge and express our deepest gratitude to Shilicia Taylor, the Medical Staff of Baylor Scott & White, as well as the Medical Staff at the Atrium. It is with heartfelt appreciation, that we remember the incredible care they provided, their support, kindness and unwavering commitment, as it brought comfort, peace, and dignity to him and our family throughout his illness. THANK YOU!

William’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his faith. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom, leading his family with love and integrity. His legacy is one of kindness, devotion, and a deep commitment to his beliefs.

He will be remembered as a man of faith, very hard working, a loving husband and a devoted father, and grandfather. His memory will live on the hearts of those who love him.
