William Breiten Sr. 93, passed away at his home in Waco, Texas on March 23, 2023.  

Graveside Service: 2PM Wednesday, March 29 at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.  

William Breiten Sr. was born January 22, 1930, to Joseph and Frances Breiten in Oglesby, Texas. He was the middle child of 5 siblings.  

William Breiten Sr. served in the United States Navy for 20 years before becoming a retired Veteran. While serving his country he spent much time aboard the USS Costal Sea. He was proud of the years he served and was an honorable Veteran.  

He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine of 40 years; his children, Duane, Ronnie, Laura (Rosa), and William (Billy) Jr; his parents; his brothers, Joseph Jr.,  and John; and sister, Annie (Garcia).  

He is survived by his daughter, Anita; his younger brother, Albert; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and hundreds of cousins and other family members.  

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Veterans Administration Social Workers, Blue Bonnet Hospice, and Visiting Angels for all their dedication and support they gave to William and his family.
