Wayne was born To O.W. VanNatta and Virgie Lee Carroll in Palo Pinto County on March 31, 1938. He worked as a machinist for many years before retiring. He married Velma Fay Tull on October 08, 2007. They met at the Brookshire’s Deli in McGregor where he looked into her blue eyes and fell in love. They enjoyed sitting on the porch together drinking a cup of coffee. Wayne loved fishing. He was proud to be a member of Bible Way Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Velma Fay VanNatta; daughter, Carman Albert and husband, Roland, of New Roads, LA; three grandchildren, Dylan, Brittney and Kaitlyn; three stepsons, Ricky Tull and wife, Jennifer, Johnny Tull and wife, Nicole, Calvin Tull and wife, Lana; nine step grandchildren; two nephews, John Shockley and Wendy, Billy Shockley and wife, Janet; many other friends and relatives.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Woodland Springs Care Center and Providence Hospice for the exceptional care given to Wayne.
