Dear Dawn, Danelle, Mrs. Lytle, and all the family.
I am sorry for your loss. It has been several years since we have talked with you, but I have never forgotten any of you and especially Truman. I loved him because he loved the Lord and was a faithful witness in his life. He influenced me so much in my walk with the Lord. I know he is in the presence of the Lord right now and I am happy for him, but sorry for you because I know you will miss him. I will be praying for you in the days and weeks to come.

Mr. Lytle was one of my teachers at Weeping Water School in the late 50’s! He was a most caring, kind educator! I am still at the Weeping Water School as an Elementary Secretary. He would always let us raid his watermelon patch! In Heaven there is one more angel! That would be Mr. Lytle!! Please accept my most sincere sympathy! Betty

My condolences go to the family of Truman Lytle. It was as an honor to get to teach with Truman at Odell many years ago. He was a dedicated teacher, a fine citizen, and a loving husband and father. Every time iris are in bloom I think of Truman! I will be unable to attend the service at Tecumseh, NE on Sat. but my thoughts and prayers are with Truman’s wife, his daughters and his grandchildren at this time.

I just wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss. Mr.Lytle was a superb man. I lived across the street from him and his family as a child and remember him fondly. He was so patient and kind and I loved to watch him with his flowers. What a beautiful garden! We were sad to see him move back then and still remember him to this day. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. God Bless.

Some teachers reach their students, Mrs. Lytle in 5th grade, and especially Truman through my High School at Weeping Water, Nebraska. Each were teachers I felt helped make me who I am today, and I feel blessed to have had both them for teachers.
It was with sadness that I learned of Truman’s passing. He will be missed not only in my heart, but in the hearts of all those he touched.
