Posted By Lake Shore Funeral Home On January 30, 2020 @ 8:38 am In Obituaries | 7 Comments

Terry Dale Trull, 68, of China Spring, returned to the Lord that he very much loved on Sunday morning, January 26 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple after suffering from a stroke he experienced while feeding cattle.

Memorial Service: A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at Lakeshore Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

Terry was born March 08, 1951 in Waco, Texas to Ross Fisher Trull and Alvena Prause Trull.   He attended school in China Spring, Texas followed by a stint with the Army National Guard in the 1970s.   Terry was a rancher and adventurer, but was best known for his capacity to selflessly help others while asking nothing in return. He will be very much missed by his family, friends and acquaintances.

Terry is survived by his mother, Alvena Pocock; sister, Neva Casey; brother, Stephen Pocock; nephew, Micah Willingham; niece, Alexa Lucas; three great-nephews and one great-niece.

He is preceded in death by a great father, Ross Fisher Trull; a beautiful sister, Alicia Pocock Lucas; and a baby nephew, Shane Alexander Lindsey.

We would like to give our heartfelt and grateful appreciation to Terry’s cousins Marilyn Prause,  Yvonne Baur  and Judy Edwards for comforting him in his last days prior to his passing over.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church in Wortham Bend or Rock Creek Cowboy Church in China Spring.

Place of Service: Lake Shore Funeral Home , 5201 Steinbeck Bend; Waco, TX 76708

Condolence from Ladybug on January 31st, 2020 10:54 am

He will me missed by so many, especially me. He was always checking on me and helping me almost daily on the ranch, (just like he did for my mother for many years), telling stories that were always interesting and let’s say entertaining and of course entertaining anyone he was around.

Cousin Terry Trull was one of a kind to say the least. A man of great faith and compassion for others, and one of the most humble men I’ve ever known. His New Years resolution was to get to know his Saviour better. It was my honor to be at his side along with another sweet cousin, Yvonne, when he peacefully took his final journey up the stairway to heaven. Rest In Peace Cuz.
