
Mrs. Terri Lea (Parker) Johnson, 69, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 in Sulpher Springs.
Funeral Service: 2PM Sunday, January 19 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel in Waco. Internment will follow at Wortham Bend Cemetery.
Terri was born on March 18, 1955 to Hanford Pierce and Catherine (McNelis) Pierce. Terri married James on February 14, 1997 and they remained married until his passing in 2022. Terri was of the Christian faith. She was kind-hearted, loved music and animals and the beach. She enjoyed being on the boat and enjoying the lake life. She and James traveled when they could. She loved collecting butterflies, her roses, and loved all things chocolate! She worked several years as a teacher’s aide and bus driver for Como-Pickton ISD.
Terri was preceded in death by both of her parents; her first husband, Cecil Parker, her sister Kathleen Smith, her brother Sokie Pierce, and her husband, James Johnson. Terri is survived by her son, Cecil Parker and his wife Jessica; son, Tyler Parker; grandson, Blake Parker and his wife Megan; two great-grandchildren, Charley and Waylon; her brother, Rudy Pierce and his wife Janie; Terri’s stepchildren, JT, Dusty and Beau and their families; and she also leaves behind some very special nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank Sunny Springs and Chambers Hospice for loving care of Terri during her battle with Alzheimer’s.

I loved Terri! She was beautiful, funny and much more. Terri touched my heart. She enriched my life. I am grateful for the moments I shared with her.
