Teresa, your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. They say heaven is the place where all the previously passed family, dogs, horses, cats all await to greet you. I pray you had a jubilant home coming. I pray that Jesus hugged you until every oz of pain left your body and you became filled with the peace that only He can bring. It was a glorious day back in the early 70’s when you and I got baptized together in our matching blue handkerchief blouses at the China Spring Baptist Church by the hand of Brother Hunicutt. From that day onward we belonged to Him. I love you. I miss you. I will see you again. Until then, I know you will be riding the hills and plains of heaven filled with joy and your biggest problem will be which horse to ride. Ride on, dear sister, ride on.

  28. So sad to hear that Teresa’s life was cut short. I remember her as a great student, friendly and generous toward others.

  29. My sincerest condolences. Teresa was a great friend and will be greatly missed. You couldn’t be in the same room with her and not smile.

  30. Doris Rodriguez

Teresa has been our neighbor for the past several years here in Elgin, Texas and she is greatly missed. I miss seeing her and the dogs go by, she on her four-wheeler dragging the trashcan behind her on pick-up day, and her entourage happily following after her. I miss our short little chats and our long and lengthy discussions about life and God and this crazy world we live in . I had the honor of picking her up from the hospital on several occasions and the trip home always included a stop at the nearest Sonic for a breakfast burrito and a drink. Her joy and love for Christ always resonated loud and clear … and I could always count on her to find the silver lining behind every cloud, no matter how thin or small. I saw her in Wade’s face the other day (when the horses got out and we helped round them up) and it brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my lips. Our deepest condolences to her precious family. May all the beautiful memories bring you peace and joy. Teresa was loved and appreciated.

    • Thank you Doris, from the depths of my heart, I thank you. Your rewards will be many in heaven.
      Kelly Ince, Teresa’s sister
