Steve Roberts, 60, of Waco, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 at a local nursing center. Graveside services will be 10AM Wednesday, June 23rd at Bosqueville Cemetery with Rev. Ivan Ker officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday, June 22nd at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ike and Sybil Roberts; and grandson, Parker Stephen Moncus.
Survivors include daughter, Lisa Roberts Moncus of Bosqueville; son, Chris Roberts and wife, Misty of Waco; four grandchildren, Austyn Roberts, Katelyn Roberts, Tanner Moncus, and Blake Moncus; and brothers, Jimmy Roberts and wife, Sharon, Gary Roberts and wife, Donna, and Wayne Roberts and wife, Pam, all of Waco.
Pallbearers will be Doug Terry, Larry Flowers, Brian Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Jake Roberts, Doug Hunt, J.L. Davis, and James Good.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations for final expenses can be made at Fidelity Bank.

Mr. Roberts has been a buddy of mine, for a while now, here at the facility. He will be greatly missed, not only by me, but by everyone who attended to him daily. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.

Chris, Lisa and family my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families at this hard time. Steve was a very good person and was known as "Uncle Steve" to many of us. He will truly be missed. Buddy and Wayne, I’m so sorry. I just learned of Steve’s passing on Saturday at the golf course. Had I known I would have been there. God bless you all, he was a sweet sweet man.
