Shirley loved to knit and crochet, and she was an avid coin collector, spending countless hours studying coins and currency. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gross Reeves, Barto Reeves, and Manuel Reeves; and sisters Audrey Everett and Geraldine Sipes.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Mandel; daughters Christi Randazzo and husband Chris and Betsy Miller and husband Jeff; nieces Janet Roberts, whom she thought of as one of her daughters, Linda Turner, Deborah Harris and Debbie Sipes; nephews Greg Sipes, Mark Hooks and Mark Roberts; sister Kathy Hooks; 4 grandsons and her loyal companion ChiChi.

For those who wish, contributions can be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 3206 Old Marlin Rd, Waco TX, 76705.

Gene and family: We are saddened by the news of Shirley’s passing. We loved seeing her during stock show time out on the front porch watching our piggies walk and asking the girls questions about them. She was always loving and supportive of our family. She will be sorely missed. Out love to you and the family.
