Sharon Elaine Moore, 68, of Waco, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 6, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial Service: Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:30AM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco.
Sharon was born December 11, 1947 in Harlingen, Texas to Cecil William and Laura Nell Vencill Hack. Sharon graduated from Richfield High School in 1966. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Thomas (Tommy) John Moore on July 24, 1966. Together Sharon and Tommy owned and operated, “Moore Dental Studio”, for 30 years. Sharon had a green thumb, could make anything grow, she also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Cecil William Hack and her brother, Glen Hack, who died serving his country in the Vietnam War.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of over 50 years, Tommy Moore; her mother, Laura Nell Hack; her brother, Lynn Hack and his wife Lanelle; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

Dear Tom, you already know how dear your Sharon was to me and I know how tremendously you must miss her. How blessed you are ,though ,to have had her all of these years and she with you. Thank you for sharing her friendship with me through these years. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow and loneliness and give you His blesses peace.

A beautiful person, always remember her laugh, always remember her keeping Tommy and I on the right track, the out loud Thomas John words when the warning went our direction, the Big Red for the pups, the talks she had with my mother, always enjoying the entire steak and many, many memories. She was 1/2 of the coin, Tommy on one side being who he is and Sharon being the calming side of the coin. The great thing was that you got the entire coin with these two, no choice of one side. That’s how I appreciated it and still will. Will take things as they are and just carry the memory of the other side as we move forward. That is what it will take Tommy, together we will move forward.
