Serbando Loredo, Jr., 63, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022.

Funeral Service: 10 AM Thursday, March 17 at Church of the Open Door. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation: 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 16 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Serbando “Putt” Loredo, Jr. was born December 24, 1958 in Hubbard to Serbando and Eva (Hernadez) Loredo, Sr. Serbando was a great man who loved well, worked hard, and took care of his family. He would also assist his son in his business and took great pride in doing so. Serbando was also very passionate about ministry. Even in his last days, he would witness to nurses and therapists at the hospital, telling them to keep God in the center of their lives. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was such a great provider. He loved and honored the Lord, Jesus; and was a blessing to many. He will be forever loved and missed. His name will not be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Serbando is survived by his wife, Arleen Loredo; sons, Chris Loredo and wife Martika, and Joshua Trejo and wife Makayla; daughter, Stacy Hester; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Mike Loredo and wife Martha, Gilbert Loredo and wife Bertha, Frank Loredo, Eloy Loredo and wife Maria, and Louis Loredo and wife Lisa; sisters, Maryann Loredo, and Diane Loredo; and numerous other relatives.

  8. Our hearts are broken after hearing about Mr. Loredo. I cried for him and his wife who was at his bedside each and every time we would round regardless of time. Their love for each other was obvious. We had many hopes for the two and wished they had more time at home together, enjoying time out of the hospital finally. I’m sorry it was a brief moment at home, but I hope he had peace. And I hope he knew how many people were rooting for him. He truly engraved a spot in our hearts forever.
