Scotty was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Simecek, who passed away in 1999.
Survivors include his father, Bob Simecek of West; and sisters, Terry Neece of Morrison, OK, Donna Sear of Huntsville, AL, and Martha Schlosser of Temple.

This is probably crazy for me to leave this here but, My name is Katilyn Schoenrock-Simecek. I never met scotty, also know as my father. If anyone is related to me and seeing this, please feel free to message me at 254-910-1000. I grew up in west my whole life, raised by my grandpa Maurice and my mom Cathy. I know she may have made it seem like I didn’t want to know anyone from the family, but I do. I never had the chance to know anyone. This is the first ever picture ive seen of my father. I am 21 and attending Mcc for Elementary Education. I am a good outcome from scotty, or at least im trying to be with inflation and the 2024 economy LOL.
