  1. i did not know samantha or donovan but i would like to send you this poem "I Am Not There" Do not stand at my grave and weep For I Am Not There. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow.I am diamonds that glint on snow.I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain.Whe you awaken in the morning hush I am the swift uplifting rush of butterflies in joyous flight.I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry.I am not there. I did not die. You all are in my prayers may god be with you

  2. 1995 CS Graduate

I did not know Sam or Donovan, but I know the heartache that the family and community shares. In December of 1993, almost 15 years ago, my best friend and a friend of her brothers were tragically killed in a car accident. To loose someone that young is indescribable. There are no words that I can think of that can comfort you in this terrible time. The loss will never go away, but you will learn to take comfort in memories and keep them in your hearts and minds forever. My thoughts and prayers are with family, friends, and classmates.

  3. 1998 CS GRADUATE

    Sandy,

I hope you still log on and read these messages. I just found out last night about Samyy and was heartbroken to hear of your loss. As you know Sammy was a great friend to Kelsey and I loved her as well. You and I shared so much together and I know that Sammy was the "brightspot" of your life. I can’t imagine loosing Kelsey, so I won’t pretend to know what it feels like. I do know that my God is a loving God, and he would never have Sammy suffer. I hope that you contact me and again I am deeply sorry for your loss and I will pray for you and Ty each and every day.

    Love Always, Deboarh

  28. I taught Samantha history during her 8th grade year while she was in Cedar Hill. I have taught many, many students over the past 20 years, but Samantha was one of the very special ones. Several words come to mind: bright, beautiful, outspoken, very friendly, loved people. She will always be in my heart and I am honored to have been a small piece in her life. God bless your family and remember heaven is blessed to have a new beautiful angel!

  29. I do not know your family but read of this tragedy in the newspaper – and when I saw your beautiful daughter, granddaughter, neice, cousin, and friend’s picture – I just had to reach out and let you know – that I am praying for you and I hope that you allow God to wrap his comforting arms around you right now.

  46. I wouldnt have recognized her if I passed her on the street but Samatha and her entire family including Ty and their mom and dad were an influence in my life. I was young at the time but I sill remember tossing samantha around in the pool at the apts where they lived. I’ll send up a prayer. You will truly be missed by all who were graced with your presence.

  47. Ty and Sandy,

I am devestated and heartbroken. All I can think about is how wonderful your whole family is and I treasure the times I got to spend with Samantha. There is nothing worse than losing someone you love so much and I can’t stop my tears from flowing and my heart from breaking for your family.

I know there is nothing anyone can say to take the horrible pain away, but know that while Samantha was here she impacted every life she touched. She was everybody’s shining star and now she is our angel.

I prayed to my angel, Marcus and asked him to welcome her to heaven and take care of her and be her big brother up there until someday we can all be together again.

All my love to your whole family,

    Shanna

    Sandy,
It has taken me a little time to say the words I really still cannot convey, but as we have talked I hope I said something to ease your pain. Samantha was the sweetest, most giving, outgoing, happy, she just lit up the room,(even if you were sad or she was sad you never she would never show it or let you remain that way) young lady I have met at her age. You,Sam and your family will always have a special place in my heart. So here is a special verse and poem for you: Today’s Daily Word – Friday, August 25, 2006
    COMFORT
The presence of God enfolds me and comforts me.
In the silence of God’s loving presence, I listen and I hear God’s message to me:
"Beloved, I am here with you now and forever. Do not fear or give in to doubt, for I am the light that is guiding you through the darkest of nights and encouraging you on safe pathways.
"My spirit is the spirit of unconditional love that can and will enable you to overcome whatever may seem to be challenging you now or in the days to come.
"My comfort is peace that surpasses all understanding. Let My peace infuse you with the assurance that you have a life filled with love and hope, regardless of what has happened.
"Remember, dear one, that I am always with you and you can rely on Me."
"You have pain now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you."–John 16:22
    We will see you soon.
    Lorna and Clifford

  59. Sammy Jo, I can’t believe you’re gone. I’m still hoping that by some miracle you’ll come back. I’m so sorry we never got to talk this year but know that I love you and you made such a great impact on my life that you will never be forgotten.

  60. Sandra, I don’t know if you remember me or not, but I worked at the 9th Grade Center when Sam was there. I am so sorry for your loss. I know it seems unbearable now and probably will for a long time. There are no words that I could say to make you feel any better. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

  61. samantha jo.. samjojamtoe. wow. i never imagined this day would come so soon. she never failed to put a smile on my face whether if it was from her cheesy jokes to her trying to rap like lil wayne. we have had our share of good and bad times and i will hold those times close to my heart. i heard the news and i could not believe it. i was just talking to you hours before. although it did end on an i love you there are so many more things i wanted to say to you. i wish things happened differently. you will never be forgotten sammybear.. without your bright smile my world is darker. keep a look out on everyone from heaven.

my prayers goes out to the family and close friends.

  62. Steve if you need any thing call or let know….Love you man……
