I will always hold a special place in my heart for Ms. Sadie. Such a dear christian lady with a sweet smile, delightful laugh, and compassion for all she knew. My prayers are with the family now, but know that she is home with her Lord today.

I’m so sorry for Sadie’s passing but know that she’s with the Lord. She and Mother are probably having a fine time getting caught up on stuff!! Please know that my prayers are with ya’ll and I love you!

I love you so much Aunt Sadie! Thank you for being such an inspiration and such a joy in my life. Even on a bad day, I could visit with Aunt Sadie for 5 minutes, see that beautiful smile, listen to the joy in her laughter and stories and know that everything was going to be OK. Always a smile…always uplifting and totally funny! I remember bisquits and gravy at the kitchen table with stories of the old days and her concerns about how my life was going! She was my angel and I can’t wait to see her again as we visit with The Master together!!

I consider myself one of the luckiest people to grow up around Aunt Sadie. Her smile lit up a room, her laugh was infectious. Her age was 93, she knew no age boundaries. In heart she was always a little girl.

So sorry to hear of Sadie’s death, I remember her from the Carter reunions and my mother Alma Carter Scarborough spoke of her often.

Sadie was such a wonderful, loving person. She always had a hug to share. She will be greatly missed. She is with our Lord and Savior and we will meet again one day.

We are so sorry to hear about your Mother-In-Law’s passing. She is with God during this Christmas Season. Please know we will be praying for you and your family.

Everyone will truely miss Miss Sadie. Sadie has be in and out of my life since I was a little girl. I never saw her, that she wasn’t smiling. Her children certainly have a mother to be proud of. She was a faithful member of her church and she was a faithful friend to all she met. God has truely taken one like him home.

Sadie was a "corner stone" of the Chalk Bluff Community. As a child my memories included the Hill Family and McBride Family. We, the Greenwood Family shared the pleasure of being neighbors with these fine folks. I will miss Sadie’s love for life, watching her stop at the mailbox for her mail, stopping to chat now and then. Heaven has welcomed a wonderful angel to watch over us. It was a privelege to have known that sweet lady.

Our dearest Aunt Sadie (Sadie Mae!): We will miss you deeply, but are hearts will be filled with warmth each time we think of you and remember your sweet laughter and joyful face. I look forward to seeing you again one day. Praise God for your beautiful life, and your light that shines so brightly!

To a sweet lady, our aunt Sadie. I can only imagine the homecoming that took place this morning in Heaven with our Lord, her brothers and sisters, her parents, her husband, and her son. You have been a rock to many of us and a light to our family. We will miss you so much.

I am truly saddenned to hear about Sadie’s passing away. I remember her fondly as a SS teacher at Chalk Bluff. Also every year she was a big part of vacation bible school. My thoughts and prayers are with Donnie, Carolyn, and Ricky. Sadie is visiting with Robert and his son. I am now a dialysis patient and will be in treatment Friday AM, so I will not be able to attend the funeral. Also I am having a minor surgery today, and will miss the visitation. My heart felt prayers and condolences are with you, the whole family.
