Rose Linda Chaney, 73, of Red Oak, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her granddaughter’s home in Hillsboro.

Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Funeral Service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Pastor Dot Clark officiating

Rose Chaney, 73, of Red Oak, departed this world for her heavenly home Wednesday morning on May 26, 2021.

She was born July 07, 1947 in Cameron, Texas. She was the daughter of Alice and Joe Mata. She was later happily married to Leroy Chaney in 1967 and they resided in Birch Tree, Missouri. Soon after marriage they started a family and had 9 children that they raised together. They had 5 daughters, Joanna, Dianna, Bernice, Jennifer, Amanda and Crystal. They then had 3 sons, Roy, Leroy, and William. The family later moved to Dallas in 1980 and soon after they divorced. Rose then fell in love and decided to get married to Johnny Baladez in 1985 and then soon after marriage they had twin boys Johnny and Richard. He was the love of her life and they were soul mates until Johnny preceded her in death in 2020 .

Rose had many grandchildren in her life that she loved very much and all of her grandchildren loved her so much that they all would call her (MOM).

(Joanna Chaney) had 3 sons Justin Brooks, Aaron Chaney, and Taylor Robertson which live in Texas

(Dianna Chaney) had  3 sons and 3 daughters Lario Zuniga, Casio Zuniga, Angel Nevarez, Angelika Botello, Dezaray Johnson, Jerika Graves which live in Texas

(Bernice Ross) had 3 daughters and 4 sons Stephanie Phillips, Ashley Vaughn, Heather Heath, Cody Ross, Jason Ross, Jacob Ross, and Johnathon Ross which live in Houston, Texas

(Roy Chaney) had 3 sons and 1 daughter Roy Chaney Jr., Eric Chaney, Chase Chaney, and Destiny Chaney which live in Texas

(Leroy Chaney) had 1 son Lee Chaney Jr. which lives in Texas

(Billy Chaney) had 4 sons Billy Chaney Jr., Blake Chaney, Jaiden Chaney, and Jordan Chaney

(Jennifer Chaney) had 2 sons and 2 daughters CJ Ivy, Clayton Ivy, Jenna Ivy, and Jolene Ivy which live in Texas

(Amanda Chaney) had 2 daughters Lexie Miller, Ginger Chaney

(Crystal Chaney) had 1 daughter and 3 sons Brianna Forbes, Daniel Chaney, and Tristen Peacock

 

Rose also had many more grandchildren and great grandchildren that were not listed, but she definitely loved them all.

 

Rose was always cooking and cleaning and loved helping her family very much she always went out of her way to provide every ones needs before her own. She always enjoyed her time with her family and she enjoyed going to the casino on her free time.

Rose always wanted her kids to get along and do the right things in life and to be happy and respectful to one another.

Rose had a loving heart and was always trying to help one of her children or her grandchildren.

 

Our Mother will never be forgotten for all the things she did in our lives and all of the hearts that she touched.

    Thank you all for your prayers and nice words the most hardest thing in this world is to lose someone you love so much there is nothing that could ever take that pain away…mom there ant a moment of my life I have not thought of you and there will not be a day to come that I won’t cause you where the one I had to turn to and talk to just to here your thoughts on what I do and your always going to be in my heart I know your here with me I can feel you around me I don’t understand why God has gave me so many chances at life after being lifeless so many time I know it was your prayers that was so strong that helped me and called me back for a reason I am trying to figure that purpose every day but soon I will figure it out I hope just know I love you and always will mom God bless you ❤️ 💙 💖
