Rocky Dale Romine

Rocky Dale Romine, 62 of China Spring, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Providence Health Center surrounded by his sons and family.

Memorial Service: 6:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Rocky was born in Mesa, Arizona on April 30, 1956 to Jimmy Don and Freda Owens Romine. He lived in the China Spring area most of his life, and graduated from China Spring High School in 1974. He worked in several trades throughout his life, including welding, installing fuel tanks, and hauling sand and gravel with his dad. He was a man of many talents, and could build anything he set his mind to. After retiring, that is what he did, along with watching and enjoying his grandchildren  participate in their sports and activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Freda.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, James Bradley Romine and wife Desarae of Blum, and Patrick Scott Romine and wife Ashle of Mart; grandchildren Cooper, Conner, Lanie, Jesse, Addy, and Zayne; brothers Steven Don Romine and wife Melanie of Cameron and James Kirby Romine of California; nephew Michael Romine of California; aunts Bobbie Sullivan and husband Gene and Fay Romine, all of Waco, along with several other family members, cousins and friends.
