Robert Krupicka, 90, a resident at Senior Care of Hewitt, was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father in the early morning hours on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Service Information: Graveside Service will be held 9:30 a.m., Monday, August 10, at Waco Memorial Park.

He was born on October 28, 1929 in Buckholts, Texas to Vince and Julia Krupicka.  He was the last remaining survivor of his siblings.

In his earlier years, he worked at Texas Coffin Company and Central Texas Iron Works.  After an industrial accident in which he lost his leg, his strength and determination allowed him to own and operate Stump King until his retirement.

His hobbies included fishing and gardening. His green thumb allowed him to grow enough vegetables to share with others.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with others.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alleyne, stepson, John Jasbring, infant son, David, his parents and siblings.

Survivors include children, Susan (Howard) Malone of Hewitt, Randy (Gretchen) Krupicka of Oglesby and Sheryl (Bill) Blount of Axtell; stepdaughter, Jan Sparks (LeeAnn) of Flint, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or Meals on Wheels of Central Texas.

Place of Service: Waco Memorial Park , 6623 S. IH-35; Robinson, TX 76706

A parent is always with us, first in their lifetime, then forever in our memory, no amount of words can express the pain you are going through. When it comes to losing a parent, it can be one of the most difficult times ever experienced. A Father is part of your life since day one; being there for you through all of life’s adventures, and losing him can seem like a loss like no other. Our deepest sympathy, condolences, and thoughts for all the family. I surely enjoyed the times I spent at the Krupicka home visiting, repairing electrical, fixtures, building a wheel chair ramp, and other times there.

Condolence from Ray Roberts on August 11th, 2020 7:24 am

I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Robert Krupicka. He will be missed. Years ago, I met Mr. Krupicka when I worked at the Bank in Woodway. He was a fine man, very friendly and I always enjoyed talking to him. In our talks, he mentioned his garden and the Stump King business. The Family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. With Deepest Sympathy,
Ray Roberts

Condolence from Lisa Braswell on August 14th, 2020 11:13 am

I was saddened to read about Robert’s death. My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family. While there is sadness here, I’m sure there was a beautiful and joyous reunion in Heaven with family that preceded him. He was such a kind, loving and generous man that I had the honor to know for many years. It was a blessing to spend time with him and receive the bounty from his garden.
With deep sympathy and love,
Lisa Braswell
